Near Atlanta KS, in an old rundown mobile home, lived a hive of wild bees. The owner was going to burn the trailer down so that he could dispose of it. I’d known about the bees, but I was afraid to mess with them, because I thought I might kill them. When I found out what the owner had in mind, I figured it couldn’t hurt to try. I used my homemade bee vacuum for the first time.

We got lots of bees and honey.

Now they are thriving in my dad’s backyard. He often goes out to sit and talk with them.
