This Halloween Dylan tried out his new “grill”. What a pretty smile.

I was alone this year. I’m of the habit of getting Halloween off every year because it used to be so fun with the kid’s and their costumes. I don’t think I’ll bother to take it off any more. I spent it alone and it brings back so many good memories of good times, that it’s kinda sad to be alone during it. The only bright spot was the next door kids coming by early. So cute!

I went to mom and dad’s on Tuesday. While there as went out and picked some pears. Not just any pears, monster pears. Every year it’s a crapshoot, whether there will be any pears that fall or not. It all depends on the spring, and if a late freeze kills all the blooms.

This year, YAHTZEE!

10/4 we responded to a pipeline spill. About 10000 gallons of natural gasoline were released when a trencher hit a 4″ pipe. We’ve been working here ever since.

Today we’re pumping groundwater and product into 3000 gallon poly tanks, until we get enough to load into a truck and take to the refinery in coffeeville.

Power went out in the neighborhood, so the neighbors across the street came over and we listened to the game on the radio until the cable started working again.

It was nice.
